The Arizona Cardinals stand at 3-5 on the season following a quarterback transition and an offensive spark against the Dallas Cowboys. A new fan survey conducted by SB Nation Reacts is gauging supporter sentiment on the franchise’s overall trajectory and upcoming roster decisions.
Quarterback Switch and Trade Strategy
During their recent contest against the Dallas Cowboys, the Cardinals’ offense established a rhythm for slightly more than one quarter. The team decided to bench quarterback Jacoby Brissett in favor of Gardner Minshew as the starter for the immediate future.
Although sitting at 3-5, Arizona has not been completely eliminated from the NFC playoff race. The team’s positioning has sparked discussion over whether the front office should buy or sell assets ahead of the NFL trade deadline. A notable point in fan discussions includes preserving safety Budda Baker on the roster even if the team chooses to sell other pieces before the deadline.
