Sky Sports has secured exclusive broadcast rights in the UK and Ireland for the WTGL, the new women’s team golf league operating in partnership with the LPGA Tour. The inaugural season starts on November 8, bringing the team golf format played inside a custom-built indoor arena in Florida to the women’s game.

Broadcast Details and Roster Highlights

The coverage agreement covers both the 2026 and 2027 competitions as an expansion of the network’s golf rights, alongside an extension for the men’s TGL presented by SoFi for another two years. English competitors Charley Hull and Lottie Woad, alongside former world number one Jeeno Thitikul, stand among the initial group of players announced for the opening season.

Five teams featuring five-player rosters encompass 48 combined Solheim Cup team appearances, which include eight participants from the 2026 line-ups and 15 major championships. The competition utilizes identical elements from the men’s league, featuring mic’d up players, risk-reward team decisions, and diverse match formats.

The addition of the WTGL supports the network’s coverage of women’s sport by broadcasting every match live, including the post-season play-offs scheduled from December 20 to 23.

Founding Teams

Atlanta Drive features Nataliya Guseva, Charley Hull, Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee, and Yuka Saso. Boston Common Golf includes Céline Boutier, Chizzy Iwai, Megan Khang, Lottie Woad, and Ina Yoon.

Los Angeles Golf Club consists of Aki Iwai, Alison Lee, Gaby Lopez, Kiara Romero, and Michelle Wie West. Motor City Golf Club brings together Brooke M. Henderson, Jeeno Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Ruoning Yin, and Albane Valenzuela.

New York Golf Club completes the lineup with Linn Grant, Danielle Kang, Lydia Ko, Yana Wilson, and Rose Zhang.

Men’s TGL Expansion

The men’s competition will grow to seven teams by 2027, with participants such as Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, and Brooks Koepka competing in the third season. Boston Common Golf, featuring McIlroy and off-season signing Shane Lowry, opens its schedule against Motor City Golf Club, which includes Brooks Koepka and rising player Jackson Koivun.

Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club competes in the same double-header against defending champions Los Angeles Golf Club in a rematch of the previous SoFi Cup Finals, with the 15-time major champion aiming for more frequent appearances than the previous year. Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose represent Los Angeles Golf Club for the season launch on December 27 at the SoFi Center, accompanied by at least 12 new PGA Tour players joining the competition.

Every match of the 2026 and 2027 TGL and women’s TGL seasons will air exclusively live on Sky Sports Golf.
