Sergio Garcia announced Thursday that he is leaving LIV Golf to compete full time on the DP World Tour starting in the 2027 season.

The veteran golfer shared his decision regarding his future career path and his long-standing ties to the European circuit.
“This tour has been a huge part of my career from the very beginning, and I’m proud to call it home again,” he said.
In addition to committing to the DP World Tour for 2027, Garcia noted that he is exploring potential pathways back to the PGA Tour.
“I’m also keeping my options open for a return to the PGA Tour,” he stated.
