Jesse Minter Updates Lamar Jackson’s Status for Bills Game

Quarterback Lamar Jackson’s availability for Sunday’s matchup against the Bills remains uncertain as the team begins its practice week.

Practice Participation and Injury Report

Although Jackson stepped onto the field for Wednesday’s practice session, head coach Jesse Minter declined to specify his exact participation level during a press conference.

“He was able to get some work in, but I think that’ll come out around 4 [p.m.],” Minter stated, pointing toward the scheduled release of the daily injury report.

“I think the more you’re able to do and respond from and feel from, certainly raises your optimism,” Minter stated, according to reporting by Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner. “But again, we’ll kind of see how it goes throughout the week.”

Previous Injury Timeline

Jackson has been sidelined since sustaining a high-ankle sprain during a victory against Tennessee on October 4. Throughout the entirety of last week’s practice sessions, he participated on a limited basis.

He was listed as questionable leading up to last Sunday’s game against the Bengals before the team officially downgraded him to out on Saturday.

The Baltimore injury report will be published later in the day to clarify his status.
