Wild scenes unfolded at the City Ground during Nottingham Forest’s fixture against Manchester City when manager Oliver Glasner lost control of his emotions after his side took a 3-1 lead.
Lightning Counterattack Seals the Brace
The dramatic sequence started following chaotic penalty box scenes where Manchester City narrowly missed scoring. Capitalizing on the visitors’ missed opportunity, the home team quickly initiated a rapid counterattack.
The ball made its way to Liam Delap, whose blistering pace carried him down the left flank. He struck a shot that hit the far right post and bounced into the net, securing his second goal of the match against his former club.
An Unforgettable Celebration
Following the strike, Delap celebrated by hitting the signature ‘Siuuu’ celebration in front of the visiting supporters. Manager Oliver Glasner then sprinted the entire length of the pitch to dive straight into the players’ celebration huddle.
