Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc and his wife, Alexandra, have announced the birth of their first child. The couple, who were married in a private ceremony in Monaco in February 2026, shared the news of their daughter’s arrival on social media.
Announcement and Reactions
The couple posted a photograph showing the newborn’s legs and feet, dressed in pink knitted leggings and white socks. The post was captioned with the name “Bianca” and the date “3.11.26.”
The announcement prompted a wave of well-wishes from across the Formula 1 community. Former teammate Carlos Sainz wrote, “So happy for you. Welcome to the world Bianca,” while McLaren driver Oscar Piastri shared his congratulations. Both the Ferrari and Mercedes teams also posted public messages welcoming the newborn and congratulating the couple.
Balancing Life and Racing
Leclerc, 29, recently discussed his transition to fatherhood in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. He described the experience as “very, very special” and noted that he was “really looking forward to it.” He also mentioned that he and Alexandra already considered their pet, Leo, as a son, making this their second experience as parents.
Regarding his life outside of racing, Leclerc explained that his primary focus during his limited free time is spending quality moments with his wife, his family, and his friends. He noted that he maintains a natural balance by prioritizing his on-track responsibilities and team performance before dedicating his remaining time to personal projects.
Leclerc, who finished fourth at the Mexican Grand Prix, traveled back to Monaco to be with his family ahead of the upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix.
