Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault with a firearm on Friday, according to reporting by Austin Perry. The former All-Pro pass catcher accepted a plea agreement that allows him to bypass prison time in favor of a three-year probation period alongside mandatory weekly counseling sessions.
Legal Case Details
The criminal proceedings stem from a shooting incident involving Brown in Florida earlier in 2025. Law enforcement initially hit the athlete with attempted murder charges prior to the resolution of the case. Brown maintained that his actions constituted self-defense against an individual attempting to rob him.
