During the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 7 bye, two-way standout Travis Hunter used the break to support his family and attend a high school football game in Georgia.
Supporting Younger Brother Trayvis
Hunter shared footage on Thursday documenting his presence at an Effingham County High School game in Springfield, Georgia, where he cheered for his younger brother, Trayvis Hunter. Trayvis, a junior wide receiver standing at 5-foot-7, put up over 100 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns to help secure a 42-21 victory against Grovetown. The younger Hunter has already drawn recruiting interest, earning scholarship offers from Georgia Southern and Georgia State.
Drew Swick, head coach at Collins Hill High School who previously coached both brothers, praised Trayvis during a 2024 interview with DNVR Sports. Swick noted that Trayvis matches his older brother’s freshman-level ability, plays wide receiver, cornerback, safety, and returns kicks, and maintains strong academic standing with deep respect in the community.
Looking Ahead to the Jaguars’ Next Matchup
Travis Hunter made history in college as the first player to excel on both offense and defense since Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson. The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner went No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, helping spark the Jaguars’ early AFC South lead and Super Bowl aspirations.
The Jaguars prepare to meet the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football with the goal of reaching a 6-2 record. Hunter enters the contest after securing two interceptions prior to the bye week, giving him another chance to create turnovers against a Baltimore squad relying on its third-string quarterback.
