Rays Survive Game 4 in 12 Innings Against Brewers

The Tampa Bay Rays secured a crucial victory in Game 4 of the World Series, navigating a 12-inning battle against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Rays Bullpen Delivers in Game 4

The relief corps faced early adversity when Ian Seymour allowed a go-ahead home run to Cooper Pratt in the top of the 12th inning. However, the bullpen rebounded from a tough start to the series—where it posted a 6.17 ERA over the first three games—by throwing 8.0 innings and surrendering only one run.

Nick Martinez contributed to the effort out of the bullpen, which rules out his scheduled start for Game 5 on Wednesday. Despite the pitching adjustments, the team utilized all necessary resources to secure the win.

Injury Concerns Surrounding Junior Caminero

Yandy Díaz and Junior Caminero both exited Game 4 before the walk-off win after being removed for pinch-runners. Caminero displayed noticeable discomfort and limped off the field in the bottom of the 12th inning after advancing from first to third base on a single, raising questions about his availability for Game 5.

Manager Kevin Cash stated that Caminero will play in Game 5 even if he is limited to one good leg.
