Renato Moicano and Farman Hasanov Hospitalized After UFC

Following the UFC Halloween event held on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, promotion officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that two fighters were transported to a local hospital for precautionary evaluations after sustaining damage in their respective bouts.

Fighters Transported for Precautionary Scans

The athletes who required hospital visits were former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight title challenger Renato Moicano and welterweight Farman Hasanov. Both competitors were sent to receive precautionary computed tomography scans of their heads and faces.

Moicano suffered a third-round technical knockout defeat against Tom Nolan in the main event. The outcome featured significant controversy when referee Dan Miragliotta stood the fighters up while Moicano held a body triangle from Nolan’s back and appeared to control the action. Nolan took advantage of the standup, hurt Moicano with punches, and nearly finished him before the end of the second round. Nolan maintained the pressure in the third frame, reversed a takedown, and delivered ground-and-pound punches until the referee halted the contest. With this outcome, Moicano holds a 1-3 record in his last four fights and finishes 2026 with a 1-1 mark in UFC headliners.

Hasanov lost via a doctor’s stoppage against Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani in the opening bout of the main card. The fighter sustained a severe laceration across his left eyelid during the third round, prompting Miragliotta to pause the match and consult the ringside physician, who advised that the bout could not proceed safely. The defeat ended Hasanov’s undefeated streak, bringing his Octagon record to 1-1 following a successful promotional debut at UFC Baku earlier in the year.

Official results for the medical scans of Moicano and Hasanov had not been made public at the time of publication.
