Demian Pinas vs. Baisangur Susurkayev Set for UFC 335

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has booked a high-stakes middleweight matchup between rising undefeated prospects Demian Pinas and Baisangur Susurkayev. Sources with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the grudge match is slated for UFC 335, which will be held on Dec. 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, following an initial report by Vestnik MMA.

Rising Prospects Collide

The two fighters have exchanged words extensively since joining the organization, prompting matchmakers to finalize the pairing. Pinas earned his octagon contract through the Contender Series in September 2025 and has quickly made an impact. Fighting under the nickname “The Baba Yaga,” he has finished all three of his promotional opponents in the opening round, accumulating just over eight minutes of total cage time. Most recently, Pinas secured a knockout victory against Andrey Pulyaev at UFC 332 in October.

Susurkayev also holds a 3-0 record inside the octagon following a Contender Series appearance, though his path to victory has required slightly more duration. Known as “The Real Hunter,” the 25-year-old submitted Djorden Santos in the third round at UFC 328 in May. He previously made history by securing a finish just four days after earning his contract at UFC 319 in August 2025.

The upcoming pay-per-view event is headlined by a BMF championship bout featuring Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes.
