Christian Pulisic expressed his desire to remain with AC Milan after putting pen to paper on a new contract with the club.
Contract Extension
The United States forward’s previous deal was set to conclude at the end of the current season, though it included an option for an additional year. AC Milan announced on Friday that Pulisic had agreed to fresh terms just ahead of their derby clash against league leaders Inter Milan.
In an interview with Sky Sport Italia following the announcement, Pulisic shared his enthusiasm about the agreement. “Incredible, I’m really excited, it was always my wish to stay here, to renew here with Milan and I’m really excited for the next few years,” he said, as reported by 101 Great Goals. He added, “I always wanted Milan. All the confidence that Milan have put in me from top to bottom has always been top and I’m really happy here.”
Career Impact
Pulisic transferred to Milan in 2023 following a challenging period with Chelsea. During his time with the Rossoneri, he has featured in 142 matches, finding the net 44 times and delivering 25 assists.
The 28-year-old has recorded two goals during the current campaign and aims to increase his total in the Derby della Madonnina, where Milan trail reigning champions Inter by seven points.
