Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson sustained an ankle injury during the Week 8 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Although he exited the contest early and did not return, head coach Brian Schottenheimer stated that the preliminary feedback regarding the injury was favorable.

Schottenheimer explained that the team will monitor the player’s recovery and mobility throughout the week. “We’ll see how he moves around. It might be later in the week that he goes, but we feel he tried to come back and just had strength to do it,” Schottenheimer said, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.
The head coach added regarding the medical evaluations, “But we feel like the results of the exams today were positive.”
