Kirk Cousins brought back his “Kirko Chainz” persona in style following the Las Vegas Raiders’ 38-33 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday. The veteran quarterback celebrated the win by going shirtless while wearing multiple chains belonging to his teammates.
Outstanding Performance on the Field
Cousins certainly earned the celebratory moment by delivering an impressive performance on the gridiron. He completed 19 of his 26 pass attempts for 247 yards, throwing three touchdowns and committing zero interceptions. In addition to his passing success, he also rushed for another touchdown.
His leadership was crucial in orchestrating a second-half comeback after the Raiders fell behind by nine points.
Breaking the Losing Streak
The hard-fought victory successfully snapped a four-game losing skid for the Raiders. The team will now look to carry this vital momentum forward as they prepare for a difficult upcoming schedule featuring matchups against the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Denver Broncos.
