A new tech-infused golf league featuring LPGA Tour stars is set to launch, offering a unique team format across November and December at the SoFi Center in Florida. Following the success of the men’s Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports in partnership with the PGA Tour, the women’s edition brings five city-based teams with five-player rosters together for its inaugural season.
Broadcast Details and Venue Setup
According to SkySports, both the 2026 and 2027 editions of the WTGL will be broadcast exclusively on Sky Sports as part of an expanded rights agreement that also secures two additional years of the men’s TGL. Fans can watch every match live across Sky Sports Golf, Sky Sports+ or Sky Sports Mix, with full coverage, highlights, scores, and reports available on the Sky Sports App.
The purpose-built SoFi Center indoor venue accommodates approximately 1,500 spectators around a field of play measuring nearly 100 yards long and 50 yards wide. Matches combine virtual and real-time golf, beginning on specially created holes where competitors hit into a massive 64 by 53-foot simulator powered by Full Swing, while standing on authentic grass surfaces including fairways, rough, and sand. For shots inside 50 yards, players utilize a custom-built short game area featuring a 41-yard turntable called the ‘GreenZone’ that rotates the green to alter required shot angles.
Match Format and Rules
Teams compete across 15 holes divided into two sessions, consisting of nine holes of triples—featuring three against three in an alternate shot format—and six holes of head-to-head singles golf where each team member plays two matches. Each hole across both sessions awards one point to the team requiring the fewest shots. Teams can increase a hole’s value using ‘The Hammer’ three times per match; if opponents reject a mid-hole Hammer throw, the hole is automatically conceded, and simultaneous accepted Hammers can raise a hole’s worth to three points.
A strict shot clock limits players to 40 seconds per shot, and teams have a limited number of timeouts available per match. Ties after 15 holes are resolved through a three-versus-three closest-to-the-pin overtime competition.
Teams and Player Rosters
All five WTGL teams share branding with counterparts in the men’s TGL competition:
- Atlanta Drive GC: Nataliya Guseva, Charley Hull, Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee, and Yuka Saso
- Boston Common Golf: Celine Boutier, Chizzy Iwai, Megan Khang, Lottie Woad, and Ina Yoon
- Los Angeles Golf Club: Aki Iwai, Alison Lee, Gaby Lopez, Kiara Romero, and Michelle Wie West
- Motor City Golf Club: Brooke M. Henderson, Jeeno Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Ruoning Yin, and Albane Valenzuela

Schedule and Post-Season
The regular season features 10 matches in a round-robin format where every team plays each other, utilizing a points-based system awarding two points for a win and one point for an overtime loss. The top four teams advance to a four-day post-season, with semi-finals scheduled for December 20 and 21, followed by a best-of-three finals series beginning on December 22 to crown the first champion.
The inaugural regular-season fixtures at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida, begin on Sunday, November 8 at 8pm GMT with Los Angeles Golf Club facing New York Golf Club, culminating with the final matches scheduled through December 24.
