Everything to know about the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace

As part of the pre-season regulation changes, Formula 1 has introduced Straight Mode, an aerodynamic configuration designed to reduce drag and improve acceleration efficiency on the straights. Operating similarly to the previous Drag Reduction System (DRS), the rear wing opens up a gap, but now the front wing also moves simultaneously. The uppermost elements of the front wing drop down alongside the top element of the rear wing during every dry lap in designated areas, allowing the car to switch between maximum cornering downforce and reduced straight-line drag.

At the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Brazil, drivers will utilize two specific Straight Mode zones during the race weekend. The first zone extends from the exit of Turn 14 all the way down to Turn 1, while the second zone is located between Turns 3 and 4.
