The CBS Sports college football schedule for the 2026 season features 14 appearances of the Big Ten on CBS at the usual kickoff of 3:30 p.m. ET. The upcoming slate is highlighted by major conference showdowns and the return of Pac-12 coverage.
Marquee Big Ten Showdowns
College football’s Week 10 slate features Oregon’s trip to Ohio State on Nov. 7, a pivotal matchup for the Buckeyes in the conference’s College Football Playoff discussion following a loss at USC. Ohio State freshman Luke Fahey will be making his second career start, intent on getting the football as much as he can to Jeremiah Smith, one of the season’s Heisman frontrunners. For the Ducks, the team moved on from offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer following a loss to Illinois in Week 8.
USC will travel to face Indiana in CBS’ featured game on Nov. 14. Lincoln Riley’s squad remains in control of their own destiny in the CFP race after securing a win against nationally ranked competition. Indiana’s lone setback came against Ohio State in October, and the Hoosiers can lock in a berth in the Big Ten Championship Game if they win out and receive another loss from the Buckeyes.
According to Curt Cignetti, the defending national champions are coming off consecutive overtime wins over Michigan and Minnesota and could be making a change at quarterback if Josh Hoover continues inconsistent play. Meanwhile, CBS will broadcast the traditional Black Friday rivalry game between Nebraska and Iowa in Iowa City on Nov. 27 at noon ET, followed by the final regular-season Big Ten game on Nov. 28.
Expanded Coverage and Rivalry Games
CBS Sports will bring coverage of the new-look Pac-12 league across CBS and CBS Sports Network, including high-profile nonconference games and the Pac-12 Championship Game on Dec. 4. The network will also feature three games in the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy rivalry between Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The service academy series concludes with the annual Army-Navy game on Dec. 12 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The 2026 broadcast schedule also features the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl on Dec. 31.
The Nov. 27 Nebraska at Iowa matchup marks another chapter in a rivalry where 10 of the 15 meetings as Big Ten foes have been decided by eight points or less, as reported by CBS Sports Headlines.
