The Houston Comets have officially unveiled their new logo. As the franchise prepares to make its return to the WNBA for the 2027 season, the team showcased the updated branding through a series of social media posts on Thursday.
Return to the WNBA
The original franchise competed in the WNBA from 1997 through 2008. The team’s revival follows the sale of the Connecticut Sun to the Fertitta family in March, which included plans to relocate the franchise to Houston and rename the team as the Comets after the conclusion of the 2026 season.
