Lone’er Kavanagh has shared his thoughts on the upcoming flyweight matchup between Joshua Van and Manel Kape, backing Van to emerge victorious. Kavanagh also expressed his readiness to step in as a backup for the flyweight title fight.
Predicting the Van vs. Kape Clash
Kavanagh explained why he favors Van in the contest, noting the fighter’s recent performances and high-volume fighting style. He stated, “You can’t really bet against Joshua Van anymore. He’s proved himself against Pantoja twice. I was surprised. He had an answer for everything that Pantoja threw at him. I’ve been blown away with what he’s done. His output as well is amazing. He’s very fun to watch. I’m gonna say the flyweight division is the most exciting division there is right now.”
Targeting the UFC 336 Winner
Alongside his prediction, Kavanagh has offered to serve as the official backup for the bout and wants to face the winner of the UFC 336 matchup next. He looks to position himself at the top of the flyweight ladder following the high-stakes clash.
