UFC Fight Night 292 concludes the promotion’s October schedule with a Halloween-themed fight card on Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, streaming on Paramount+.

Main Event Breakdown

A matchup between ranked lightweights serves as the main event, where divisional veteran Renato Moicano (21-7-1 MMA, 13-7 UFC) aims to defend his standing against rising Australian contender Tom Nolan (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC). Nolan enters the five-round contest carrying a five-fight winning streak. Moicano holds an 8-3 record since transitioning to the lightweight division in March 2020. Furthermore, his seven rear-naked choke submission victories inside the octagon rank tied for third-most in promotional history, trailing only Demian Maia with nine and Michael Chiesa with eight. Meanwhile, Nolan’s five-fight winning streak in the lightweight division stands as the third-longest active streak in the weight class, behind Arman Tsarukyan and Quillan Salkilld, who both hold six-fight streaks.

In the women’s bantamweight division, Yana Santos (17-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC) connects on 57.5 percent of her significant strike attempts, marking the second-highest accuracy rate in divisional history behind Mayra Bueno Silva at 59.9 percent. Her opponent, Luana Santos (11-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC), brings a four-fight winning streak that ranks third-longest in the division behind Ailin Perez and Joselyne Edwards. Luana Santos also secured the first Americana submission finish in women’s UFC competition at UFC Fight Night 256, placing her among nine fighters to achieve the feat across company history.

Strawweight competitor Piera Rodriguez (12-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) has secured all five of her promotional victories by decision. In addition, Rodriguez successfully completes 59.1 percent of her takedown attempts, establishing the highest rate in divisional history. In other card action, Julian Erosa (30-13 MMA, 9-9 UFC) holds an 8-5 record since embarking on his third tenure with the organization in June 2020.

Undercard Matchups

Flyweight competitor Ode Osbourne (13-10 MMA, 5-8 UFC) holds a 4-6 record since moving down to the weight class in August 2021. Fellow flyweight Cody Durden (18-11-1 MMA, 7-8-1 UFC) enters the event with a 2-7 record across his last nine appearances dating back to December 2023.

Mickey Gall (7-7 MMA, 6-7 UFC) enters a middleweight bout carrying a four-fight losing skid, the longest losing streak of his professional career, having last secured a victory in July 2021. Gall shifts to the middleweight division after spending his previous octagon appearances competing at welterweight.
