Jordan Love Surpasses Brett Favre in Packers Franchise Record

The Green Bay Packers have featured only three starting quarterbacks since Brett Favre took over the role from Don Majkowski during Week 3 of the 1992 season. While Favre is already enshrined in the Hall of Fame and Aaron Rodgers is widely expected to join him on the first ballot, current starter Jordan Love continues building his own professional legacy.

Milestone Streak in Green Bay History

Following a three-touchdown performance on Thursday night, Love secured the second-longest streak of games with at least two touchdown passes to begin a season in franchise history, reaching eight consecutive games.

Aaron Rodgers established the all-time Packers record in 2011 by recording 15 straight games with multiple touchdowns, while Brett Favre achieved seven straight games to start the 1995 campaign. Both legendary quarterbacks ultimately earned NFL MVP honors during those respective seasons.

Current Standing and Season Statistics

Bookmakers currently list Love at 25-1 odds to capture the 2026 MVP award. During Thursday night’s matchup, the quarterback completed 30 of 41 pass attempts for 288 yards, throwing three touchdowns and one interception.

Across the entire season to date, Love currently paces the entire NFL in passing attempts with 312, completions with 192, total passing yards with 2,246, and touchdown passes with 16.
