Week 8 Fantasy Football Kicker Waiver Wire Streaming Options

Following a difficult Week 7 where only eight kickers reached double-digit fantasy points, managers face a new challenge in Week 8 with four teams on a bye. The San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, and Houston Texans will all be out of action, creating potential streaming needs. According to Justin Boone in his weekly column, several kickers stand out as top options to pick up from the waiver wire.

Top Kicker Streaming Targets for Week 8

Evan McPherson enters a favorable matchup as the Cincinnati Bengals face the Tennessee Titans at home. While Cincinnati struggled in the first half of their Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens, their offense remains formidable and should find plenty of red zone opportunities against a Tennessee defense that gives up the fourth-most fantasy points to kickers this season.

Tyler Bass and the Buffalo Bills return from their bye week to host the Baltimore Ravens in a contest featuring the second-highest implied point total of the week at 53.5 points. Bass produced 30 combined fantasy points over his previous two appearances prior to the team’s week off.

Cairo Santos and the Chicago Bears travel to Seattle for a Monday Night Football matchup against the reigning champions. Santos has scored at least nine fantasy points in five of his seven appearances this year, and the matchup could lead to more stalled drives against one of the league’s premier defensive units.

Additional streaming options highlighted by Boone include Drew Stevens at home against Philadelphia, and Andy Borregales on the road against Miami.
